"This was a great hotel for us. Very good location (less than a minute from the beach but at a fraction of the cost of one of the resorts) and in the heart of Santa Maria. "Nice little boutique hotel that has seen better days. Great mattress, each room has TV w/ Netflix & couch which I loved. White towels very stained, shower dingy white etc. Terrible food. Still, nice to be right in the center of town with a pool. Check if there is a party as these can get loud ( wld be great if property provided earbuds and told guests of events BEFORE arrival in country). "

"Overall, the hotel was decent, though a bit outdated, and there was no elevator. On our first day, we ran out of hot water, which was particularly inconvenient. We informed the reception, and they resolved it fairly quickly. However, one issue I found disappointing was the lack of transparency in their menu. For instance, I do not eat pork, and during dinner at their gourmet restaurant, I ordered the beef menu with a gratin. Unfortunately, the gratin contained pork, which was not mentioned....
